Capital One Financial (NYSE: COF) reported Q2 EPS of $3.22, $0.59 better than the analyst estimate of $2.63. Revenue for the quarter came in at $7.2 billion versus the consensus estimate of $6.95 billion.

Fairbank, Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "We saw credit improvement across our businesses, and growth math is now helping overall domestic credit card trends."
