Dollar Tree (NASDAQ: DLTR) reported Q1 EPS of $1.19, $0.04 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.23. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.55 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.57 billion.

Dollar Tree sees Q2 2018 EPS of $1.07-$1.16, versus the consensus of $1.18. Dollar Tree sees Q2 2018 revenue of $5.47-5.57 billion, versus the consensus of $5.56 billion.
Dollar Tree sees FY2018 EPS of $4.80-$5.10, may not compare to the consensus of $5.66. Dollar Tree sees FY2018 revenue of $22.73-23.05 billion, versus the consensus of $23.02 billion.
The updated annual guidance range includes the following factors:
- $0.52 per share of one-time costs associated with the Company’s first quarter debt refinancing,
- $0.13 per share of benefit related to expected interest expense savings from its refinancing,
- $0.04 per share of benefit for an expected reduction in second quarter corporate tax rate, and
- $0.09 per share of expected costs from continued pressure related to freight and shrink expense.
