Campbell Soup (CPB) Tops Q3 EPS by 9c, Updates FY Guidance
Campbell Soup (NYSE: CPB) reported Q3 EPS of $0.70, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $0.61. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.13 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.14 billion.
GUIDANCE:
Campbell Soup sees FY2018 EPS of $2.85-$2.90, may not compare to the consensus of $3.13.
Based on the company’s current outlook for fiscal 2018, including the impact of the Snyder’s-Lance acquisition, Campbell has revised its fiscal 2018 guidance as shown in the table below. This guidance assumes the impact from currency translation will be nominal.
