Transalta Corp. (TAC) Tops Q1 EPS by 17c
Transalta Corp. (NYSE: TAC) reported Q1 EPS of Cdn$0.23, Cdn$0.17 better than the analyst estimate of Cdn$0.06. Revenue for the quarter came in at Cdn$588 million versus the consensus estimate of Cdn$636 million.
Due to strong performance in the first quarter we are revising our 2018 financial targets as presented below. This guidance excludes the impact of the $157 million termination payment received from the Balancing Pool during the first quarter.
