Twilio (TWLO) Tops Q4 EPS by 3c, Offers Guidance, CFO to Leave Company
Twilio (NYSE: TWLO) reported Q4 EPS of ($0.03), $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.06). Revenue for the quarter came in at $115.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $103.71 million.
GUIDANCE:
Twilio sees Q1 2018 EPS of ($0.07)-($0.06), versus the consensus of ($0.05). Twilio sees Q1 2018 revenue of $108-109 million, versus the consensus of $108.3 million.
Twilio sees FY2018 EPS of ($0.14)-($0.10), versus the consensus of ($0.09). Twilio sees FY2018 revenue of $483-487 million, versus the consensus of $481.4 million.
Chief Financial Officer Transition
The Company also announced plans for a transition in finance leadership. Lee Kirkpatrick, who has served as Twilio’s Chief Financial Officer since May 2012, has informed the Company and its Board of Directors of his decision to leave the company. To ensure an orderly transition and continuity of operations, Kirkpatrick will continue to serve as CFO until his successor is found and has moved into the role. The search process will begin shortly and is expected to be completed before the end of the year.
