Vishay Intertechnology (VSH) Misses Q4 EPS by 1c, Beat on Revenues; Offers 1Q18 Revenue Mid-Point Guidance Below Consensus

Vishay Intertechnology (NYSE: VSH) reported Q4 EPS of $0.37, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.38. Revenue for the quarter came in at $674 million versus the consensus estimate of $671.86 million.

Commenting on the outlook Dr. Paul stated, “For the first quarter based on Vishay’s capacity constraints, we guide for revenues of $665 to $705 million and gross margins of 26.5% to 27.5% at the exchange rates for the fourth quarter.”

GUIDANCE:

Vishay Intertechnology sees Q1 2018 revenue of $665-705 million, versus the consensus of $689.58 million.
