Franklin Resources (NYSE: BEN) reported Q4 EPS of $0.76, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.72. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.62 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.64 billion.

“Fiscal year 2017 saw a number of positive developments,” said Greg Johnson, Chairman and CEO of Franklin Resources, Inc. “Financial results were strong, with operating income of $2.3 billion, aided by effective cost management, while we also made a number of strategic investments in the business. Strengthening investment performance of our flagship strategies has led to improving sales flows, particularly offshore where retail net flows have been positive for three consecutive quarters.”
