Union Pacific (UNP) Tops Q3 EPS by 1c
Union Pacific (NYSE: UNP) reported Q3 EPS of $1.50, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $1.49. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.4 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.33 billion.
- Diluted earnings per share of $1.50 increased 10 percent.
- Operating income totaled $2.0 billion, up 3 percent.
- Operating ratio of 62.8 percent, up 0.7 points.
