Target (TGT) Tops Q2 EPS by 6c, FY Guidance Tops Views
Target (NYSE: TGT) reported Q2 EPS of $1.23, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $1.17. Revenue for the quarter came in at $16.43 billion versus the consensus estimate of $16.26 billion.

GUIDANCE:
Target sees Q3 2017 EPS of $0.75-$0.95, versus the consensus of $0.77.
Target sees FY2017 EPS of $4.34-$4.54, versus the consensus of $4.39.
Target expects that both third quarter and fourth quarter 2017 comparable sales growth will be within the range the Company experienced in the first and second quarters of 2017. The Company expects its full-year 2017 comparable sales growth will be in a range around flat, plus or minus 1 percent.
