Visa (V) Tops Q2 EPS by 7c, $5B Buyback Plan

Visa (NYSE: V) reported Q2 EPS of $0.86, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.79. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.5 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.31 billion.

Visa's board authorized a new $5.0 billion class A common stock share repurchase program.

Other highlights:
