Red Hat (RHT) PT Raised to $83 at Jefferies Following 4Q
Jefferies raised its price target on Red Hat (NYSE: RHT) to $83.00 (from $76.00) while maintaining a Hold rating. 4Q total revenue of $629M and subscription of $560M exceeded consensus of $619M and $550M. Non-GAAP EPS of $0.61 was in line with consensus.
Analyst John DiFucci commented, "RHT reported very strong F4Q results that are solid even when taking into account the performance over the last two quarters, including the F3Q quarter that was very weak. Guidance was also better than consensus estimates, but implies only single digit billings growth in the first half, low teens for the year, and no new business growth by our calculations. Margins continue to be flat, which we expect to persist."
