Bed Bath & Beyond (NASDAQ: BBBY) reported Q3 EPS of $0.85, $0.14 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.99. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.01 billion.

Comparable sales in the third quarter of fiscal 2016 decreased by approximately 1.4%, compared with a decrease of approximately 0.4% in last year's fiscal third quarter.

GUIDANCE:

Bed Bath & Beyond sees FY2016 EPS at low end of $4.50-$5.00, versus the consensus of $4.73.
