Cardinal Health (CAH) Tops Q4 EPS by 1c; Issues FY17 Outlook

Cardinal Health (NYSE: CAH) reported Q4 EPS of $1.14, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $1.13. Revenue for the quarter came in at $31.4 billion versus the consensus estimate of $31.19 billion.

"We finished fiscal 2016 having generated the highest revenues, the largest GAAP and non-GAAP operating earnings, and the greatest operating cash flow in our company's history. Our teams worked incredibly hard this past year while never losing sight of the ultimate goal – serving patients and their families," said George Barrett, chairman and CEO of Cardinal Health, Inc. GUIDANCE:

Cardinal Health sees FY2017 EPS of $5.48-$5.73, versus the consensus of $5.70.
