Armstrong World (NYSE: AWI) reported Q2 EPS of $0.56, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.51. Revenue for the quarter came in at $314.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $311.65 million.

AWI also separately announced today that its Board of Directors authorized a stock repurchase program under which it may repurchase up to $150 million of its outstanding common stock.
