Strayer Education (STRA) Misses Q2 EPS Views; Continuing Enrollments Rose 4%

Strayer Education (NASDAQ: STRA) reported Q2 EPS of $0.72, $0.32 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.04. Revenue for the quarter came in at $108.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $109.21 million.

Total enrollments at Strayer University for the summer term that started July 5, 2016 increased 4% to 38,813 students compared to 37,221 students for the summer term in 2015. New student enrollments increased 6% and continuing student enrollments increased 4%.
