Wendy's (NASDAQ: WEN) reported Q1 EPS of $0.11, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.06. Revenue for the quarter came in at $378.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $352.21 million.

Same-restaurant sales increased 3.6 percent at North America system restaurants in the first quarter of 2016.

GUIDANCE:

Wendy's sees FY2016 EPS of $0.38-$0.40, versus prior guidance of $0.35-$0.37 and the consensus of $0.36.
