Accenture (ACN) Tops Q2 EPS by 16c; Boosts FY16 EPS Outlook
Accenture (NYSE: ACN) reported Q2 EPS of $1.34, $0.16 better than the analyst estimate of $1.18. Revenue for the quarter came in at $7.95 billion versus the consensus estimate of $7.72 billion.
New Bookings
New bookings for the second quarter were $9.5 billion and reflect a negative 6 percent foreign-currency impact compared with new bookings in the second quarter last year.
- Consulting new bookings were $5.0 billion, or 52 percent of total new bookings.
- Outsourcing new bookings were $4.5 billion, or 48 percent of total new bookings.
GUIDANCE:
Accenture sees Q3 2016 revenue of $8.10-8.35 billion, versus the consensus of $8.17 billion.
Accenture sees FY2016 EPS of $5.21-$5.32, versus prior guidance of $5.09-$5.24 and the consensus of $5.22.
