Texas Instruments (TXN) Tops Q4 EPS by 2c, Offers Q1 Guidance
Texas Instruments (NASDAQ: TXN) reported Q4 EPS of $0.71, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.69. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.19 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.2 billion.
Texas Instruments sees Q1 2016 EPS of $0.57-$0.67, may not compare to consensus of $0.63. Texas Instruments sees Q1 2016 revenue of $2.85-3.09 billion, versus the consensus of $3.11 billion.
- This outlook includes about a $150 million decline in revenue from a year ago within a sector of the personal electronics market. Aside from this, overall expectations for the remainder of our business are about even with the first quarter of 2015.
