Citrix Systems (CTXS) Tops Q4 EPS Views; Issues Q1, FY16 Guidance
Citrix Systems (NASDAQ: CTXS) reported Q4 EPS of $1.66, $0.47 better than the analyst estimate of $1.19. Revenue for the quarter came in at $905 million versus the consensus estimate of $877.49 million.
In addition to quarterly financial results, Citrix also announced that its Board of Directors has authorized it to repurchase up to an additional $400 million of its common stock. As of December 31, 2015, approximately $33 million remained for repurchases from previous authorizations.
GUIDANCE:
Citrix Systems sees Q1 2016 EPS of $0.91-$0.93, versus the consensus of $0.90. Citrix Systems sees Q1 2016 revenue of $785-790 million, versus the consensus of $786.1 million.
Citrix Systems sees FY2016 EPS of $4.65-$4.75, versus the consensus of $4.47. Citrix Systems sees FY2016 revenue of $2.50-2.60 billion, versus the consensus of $3.31 billion.
