NY Post Reports Several Media Rumors, Including AT&T (T) for Time Warner (TWX)
AT&T (NYSE: T) is eyeing a takeover of Time Warner (NYSE: TWX), the New York Post reported citing "several of our well-placed tipsters."
The paper reported separate rumors that Verizon Communications (NYSE: VZ) bid $8 billion for Yahoo!'s (NASDAQ: YHOO) core assets.
In addition they said that John Malone's Liberty Media (NASDAQ: LMCA) is keeping a close eye on Sumner Redstone's media assets. i.e. - CBS (NYSE: CBS), Viacom (NYSE: VIAB).
