Chubb Corp. (NYSE: CB) reported Q3 EPS of $2.60, $0.60 better than the analyst estimate of $2.00. Net written premiums for the third quarter of 2015 were $3.2 billion, unchanged from the third quarter of 2014. Excluding the effect of foreign currency translation, premiums increased approximately 3%. Premiums were up 4% in the U.S. and down 12% outside the U.S. (up 2% in local currencies).
