October 6, 2015 11:25 AM

Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) debuted its Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL devices today.

The 950 will have a 5.2-inch display with Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 20-MP Pureview rear-facing camera, 32-GB of storage, and USB-C. The 950XL will have a 5.7-inch display with Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 octa-core, similar camera and storage options.

Microsoft's big announcement is that the devices will support Continuum, which will allow users to connect their phones to larger displays and utilize a keyboard for a PC-like experience.

Shipments are expected to begin in November, once the "Threshold 2" build of Windows 10 Mobile is complete.

Pricing will be $549 for the 950 and $649 for the 950XL.
