Daktronics (NASDAQ: DAKT) reported Q1 EPS of $0.09, $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.14. Revenue for the quarter came in at $150.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $176.47 million.

Backlog at the end of the fiscal 2016 first quarter was $205.1 million, compared with a backlog of $165.1 million a year earlier and $190.5 million at the end of the fourth quarter of fiscal 2015.
