Roth Capital Cuts Price Target on Curis (CRIS) Following 2Q Results
Roth Capital maintained a Buy rating on Curis (NASDAQ: CRIS), and cut the price target to $5.00 (from $6.00), following the release of its 2Q15 earnings results. Curis reported 2Q EPS of ($0.06), coming in-line with consensus. Revenue for the quarter was $2.1 million, falling short of the consensus estimate of $3.5 million.
Analyst Joseph Pantginis commented, "Curis reported 2Q15 results with EPS of ($0.06) compared to our estimate of ($0.05). Revenue for the quarter was $2.1 million and the company has $99.2 million in cash. CRIS expects to provide data from its ongoing Phase I studies with '907 as well as preclinical data from its I-O program. The company intends on finalizing the registration-directed Phase II study design and initiate it by YE15. Reiterate Buy - tweaking target to $5 from $6."
