Analyst Expects Robust Apple (AAPL) iPhone Sales in CQ2; Apple Watch Demand Seen as 'Tepid'
Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) is active Monday following analyst commentary issued last weekend.
AppleInsider said that KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is looking for Apple to ship 54.2 million iPhones, 8.8 million iPads, 5.4 million iMacs, and 3.9 million Apple Watches in the latest quarter.
Kuo noted strong iPhone demand in China on the estimate, which would indicate year-over-year sales growth of 54 percent.
Notably, Kuo also believes that Apple Watch demand was "tepid" in the quarter.
Shares of Apple are up 1 percent ahead of the opening bell.
