Video from Apple (AAPL) Executive Angela Ahrendts Discusses Non-Store Apple Watch Launch
A video from Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) executive Angela Ahrendts sent to store employees, discussing the Apple Watch launch, is making the rounds on the Internet. In the video, Ahrendts discusses why the company is not accepting walk-in orders for the Watch, noting the demand is far outstripping the supply. Apple Watch will only be available online when it launches on April 24.
In order to address customers questions, Ahrendts said it is important to remind customers that the Watch is not only a new product but an entirely new category. The executive said for those that were successful in pre-ordering the Watch they will be getting their orders this Friday, where store employees can help them pair the device with their iPhones.
