GameStop (GME) Misses Q4 EPS by 1c; Issues Light FY15 EPS Outlook
GameStop (NYSE: GME) reported Q4 EPS of $2.15, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $2.16. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.48 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.63 billion.
Consolidated comparable store sales declined 1.8% (a 1.4% decline in the U.S. and a 2.6% decline internationally) due primarily to overlapping the launch of Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Microsoft’s Xbox One in November 2013.
GameStop sees Q1 2015 EPS of $0.53 - $0.60, versus the consensus of $0.66. Comps expected up 2.5 to 5.5 percent.
GameStop sees FY2015 EPS of $3.60 - $3.80, versus the consensus of $4.04. Comparable-store sales expected up 1 to 6 percent.
