L Brands (LB) Tops Q4 EPS by 9c; Guides Below the Street
L Brands (NYSE: LB) reported Q4 EPS of $1.89, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $1.80. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.07 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.03 billion.
Comparable store sales for the fourth quarter ended Jan. 31, 2015, increased 6%.
Leslie H. Wexner, chairman and chief executive officer, commented, "We focused on the execution of fundamentals in the business in 2014, and we continued to get better throughout the year. I am optimistic heading into 2015 … we have great brands, with talented associates at every level, are well-positioned and have significant opportunities for growth."
L Brands sees Q1 2015 EPS of $0.50-$0.55, versus the consensus of $0.62.
L Brands sees FY2015 EPS of $3.45-$3.65, versus the consensus of $3.83.
The company expects to report February comparable store sales to increase in the mid-single digit range.
