Burlington Stores (BURL) Tops Q3 EPS by 4c; Boosts FY14 Outlook
Burlington Stores (NYSE: BURL) reported Q3 EPS of $0.16, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.12. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.16 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.14 billion.
Comparable store sales increased 5.2%, which follows a comparable store sales increase of 3.9% in the 2013 third quarter driven by improved execution.
Burlington Stores sees Q4 2014 EPS of $1.25-$1.28, versus the consensus of $1.25. Comparable store sales to increase in the range of 3% to 4%.
Burlington Stores sees FY2014 EPS of $1.65-$1.67, versus the consensus of $1.61. T otal sales to increase in the range of 7.5% to 7.8% versus its previous expectation of an increase in the range of 6.5% to 7.2% and comparable store sales for the full year to be approximately 4%.
