Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) Results Described as 'Mixed' at Goldman Sachs
Goldman Sachs maintained a Neutral rating on Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ) with a modified price target of $37.00 (from $36.00). Comments follow in-line Q4 results and guidance. Analyst Bill Shope views results as mixed.
"On the plus side, although PCs are slowing, HP is positioned to continue to gain share. In addition, the upcoming server refresh cycle should provide a near-term tailwind for the enterprise segment. On the negative side, HP’s printing supplies are declining at a faster rate than we anticipated, and a return to growth is unlikely in FY2015. As a result of these factors, we update our forecasts for FY15/FY16 non-GAAP EPS to $3.94/$4.05, from $3.96/$4.05 previously, and introduce our FY17 EPS estimate of $4.12," said Shope.
