A Strong Black Friday for J.C. Penney (JCP)? Cramer Says "Yes"

J.C. Penney Co., Inc. (NYSE: JCP) is seeing early gains Wednesday following comments from Jim Cramer on CNBC that Black Friday sales were strong at the retailer, citing comments from an apparel executive.

Cramer said it isn't clear if these strong sales will translate into profits for the embattled retailer.

Shares are up 1.8%
