BSD Medical Corporation (Nasdaq: BSDM) 28.5% HIGHER; announced a 586% increase in sales for the MicroThermX Microwave Ablation System (MicroThermX) product line for the fiscal quarter ended November 30, 2012, as compared to the fiscal quarter ended November 30, 2011.

Epoch Holding Corporation (Nasdaq: EPHC) 27.2% HIGHER; TD (TD) (NYSE: TD) and Epoch, including its subsidiary Epoch Investment Partners, Inc. signed a definitive agreement under which Epoch will be acquired by TD Bank Group for approximately US$668 million, or $28 per share.

Metabolix, Inc. (Nasdaq: MBLX) 22.8% HIGHER; received a subaward under the Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E) to work with the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science to redesign carbon fixation pathways to increase the efficiency of capturing energy from sunlight.

Net 1 Ueps Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: UEPS) 22.0% HIGHER; shares continuing after being cited for a federal investigation earlier in the week. At $5, shares are still $2 below its prior trading range.

TigerLogic Corp. (Nasdaq: TIGR) 19.1% LOWER; shares seeing a little pressure today, having been paused for volatility early. Volume of 68,000 is multiples above the daily average of a few thousand.

LifeVantage Corporation (Nasdaq: LFVN) 16.0% LOWER; announced today that it is contacting affected independent distributors and other customers to voluntarily recall and replace bottles of its Protandim, the Nrf2 Synergizer, dietary supplement

NovaBay Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (AMEX: NBY) 15.1% LOWER; has priced an underwritten public offering of an aggregate of 5,900,000 shares of its Common Stock, at a price to the public of $1.25 per share, and one-year warrants to purchase up to an aggregate of 4,425,000 shares of Common Stock.

Hi-Tech Pharmacal Co. (Nasdaq: HITK) 12.8% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.66, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.59. Revenue for the quarter came in at $57.54 million versus the consensus estimate of $56.89 million.

Vera Bradley, Inc. (Nasdaq: VRA) 12.3% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.44, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.38. Revenue for the quarter came in at $138.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $135.28 million. Sees Q4 2013 EPS of $0.55-$0.57, versus the consensus of $0.60. Also sees FY2013 EPS of $1.63-$1.65, versus the consensus of $1.62 and revenue of $526-$531 million, versus the consensus of $535.1 million.

Peregrine Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: PPHM) 9.4% LOWER; shares moving back lower following an update on its Cotara program Wednesday. Investors appear to be selling the news, with Peregrine nearly doubling since the end of October.

Cenveo Inc. (NYSE: CVO) 10.6% HIGHER; higher above the $2.50 resistance level. Peer R.R. Donnelley (NYSE: RRD) announced moving from the S&P 500 to the S&P MidCap 400.
