Vera Bradley (NASDAQ: VRA) +18%; reported Q2 EPS of $0.32, $0.39 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.07). Revenue for the quarter came in at $131.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $100.48 million.

AMC Entertainment (NYSE: AMC) +14%; By this weekend 70% of all U.S. AMCs will have resumed operations, as AMC will welcome guests at approximately 420 theatres nationwide.

DraftKings (NASDAQ: DKNG) +12%; welcomed Michael Jordan as a special advisor to the company’s board of directors. The NBA Hall of Fame inductee, six-time NBA Finals MVP and Chairman of Hornets Sports & Entertainment has agreed to take an equity interest in DraftKings in exchange for providing guidance and strategic advice to the board of directors on key business initiatives undertaken by the sports technology and entertainment company that went public earlier this year.

Flying Eagle Acquisition (NYSE: FEAC) +9.7%; Skillz Inc., (“Skillz”) a leading mobile games platform connecting players in fair, fun, and meaningful competition, and Flying Eagle Acquisition Corp. (NYSE: FEAC) (“Flying Eagle”), a publicly-traded special purpose acquisition company, agreed yesterday to a business combination that will result in Skillz becoming a publicly-listed company.

SmileDirectClub (NASDAQ: SDC) +8%; gained Wednesday following insider buying by its CFO, a Director and its CEO and Chairman. It's CEO purchased 1.28 million shares.

CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: CRWD) +8%; added to yesterday's gain.

DocuSign Inc. (NASDAQ: DOCU) +8%; Oppenheimer analyst Koji Ikeda raised the price target on Docusign Inc. (NASDAQ: DOCU) to $300.00 (from $200.00) while maintaining a Outperform rating.

Rocket Companies (NYSE: RKT) +8%; added to yesterday's gain.

Peloton (NASDAQ: PTON) +8%; JPMorgan analyst Doug Anmuth raised the price target on Peloton Interactive (NASDAQ: PTON) to $105.00 (from $58.00) ahead of earnings on 9/10, AMC.

Shoe Carnival (NASDAQ: SCVL) -15%; reported Q2 EPS of $0.71, $0.10 better than the analyst estimate of $0.61. Revenue for the quarter came in at $300.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $310.46 million. Comparable store sales increased 12.6 percent.

GSX Techedu Inc. (NYSE: GSX) -14.5%; disclosed an SEC Investigation in its earnings press release, stating: "Following a number of short-seller reports about the Company from approximately February 2020 to approximately July 2020, the SEC's Division of Enforcement contacted the Company, requesting it to produce certain financial and operating records dating from January 1, 2017.
