Omeros Corporation (Nasdaq: OMER) 30% LOWER; announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) notified the company that, as part of FDA’s ongoing review of the company’s Biologics License Application (BLA) for narsoplimab in the treatment of hematopoietic stem cell transplant-associated thrombotic microangiopathy (HSCT-TMA), FDA has identified deficiencies that preclude discussion of labeling and post-marketing requirements/commitments at this time. FDA stated that the notification does not reflect a final decision on the information under review.

In connection with this announcement, the Company is today updating its production plan and financial outlook.

Helbiz, Inc. (Nasdaq: HLBZ) 5.7% HIGHER; announced that on August 9, 2021, Salvatore Palella, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Helbiz, purchased 200,000 units of the PIPE offering which consisted of 200,000 shares of Class A Common Stock and warrants to purchase an additional 200,000 shares of Class A Common Stock for $11.50 per share.

Coty Inc. (NYSE: COTY) 5.3% HIGHER; announced a definitive agreement to sell an approximate 9% stake in Wella to KKR in exchange for the redemption of approximately half of KKRs remaining convertible preferred shares in Coty, reducing its total shareholding in the professional beauty company to approximately 30.6%. The transaction reflects a 50% appreciation in Wellas value since the closing of Cotys 60% sale of Wella to KKR in December 2020, coinciding with the re-opening of global hair salons and the positive momentum in the Wella business.

IFF (NYSE: IFF) 4.2% HIGHER; announced that Andreas Fibig, IFFs Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, plans to retire after a 10-year tenure with the company and more than seven years as IFFs Chairman and CEO. The Board of Directors is evaluating candidates to succeed Mr. Fibig as CEO with the support of a leading executive search firm. Mr. Fibig looks forward to continuing in his role as Chairman and CEO until a successor is named, which is expected by early 2022, and he has agreed to stay on for a period of time to support a seamless transition. At the time of his retirement, Mr. Fibig will also step down from IFFs Board of Directors.

Jefferies Financial Group (NYSE: JEF) 1.3% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $1.50, $0.79 better than the analyst estimate of $0.71. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.65 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.39 billion.
