(Nasdaq: SNOA) 64% HIGHER; announced the over-the-counter (OTC) consumer launch of Regenacyn Advanced Scar Gel and Ocucyn® Eyelid & Eyelash Cleanser on Amazon.com, and MucoClyns on Amazon sites in Europe. All three products are based on Sonomas patented Microcyn® technology and are immediately available for customer orders.
Altimmune, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALT) 26.7% LOWER; announced positive results from a 12-week, Phase 1 trial of pemvidutide (proposed INN, formerly known as ALT-801), an investigational glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1)/glucagon dual receptor agonist.
Ziopharm Oncology, Inc. (Nasdaq: ZIOP) 14.2% LOWER; announced a restructuring enabling the company to advance its TCR program. Approximately 60 positions have been eliminated. The Company expects the changes will extend the cash runway into the first half of 2023.
Endeavor Group Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: EDR) 11% HIGHER; entered into an agreement to acquire OpenBet, a leading content, platform and service provider to the sports betting industry, from Scientific Games Corporation (NASDAQ: SGMS) for $1.2 billion paid through a combination of cash ($1 billion) and Endeavors Class A common stock ($200 million).
Brookdale Senior Living Inc. (NYSE: BKD) 7% LOWER; announced that it proposes to offer $200 million aggregate principal amount of convertible senior notes due 2026, subject to market conditions and other factors.
Huntsman (NYSE: HUN) 6% HIGHER; activist hedge fund Starboard Value LP has an 8.4% stake in and plans to agitate for change.
ASML Holding NV (ASML:NA) (NASDAQ: ASML) 5% LOWER; New Street Research downgraded from Buy to Neutral.
Acceleron Pharma Inc. (NASDAQ: XLRN) 3.4% HIGHER; Merck & Co., Inc. (NYSE: MRK) is nearing the deal to acquire Acceleron Pharma Inc. (NASDAQ: XLRN), in an agreement that could be completed as soon as this week, The Wall Street Journal reported citing people familiar with the matter.
Applied Materials, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMAT) 3.3% LOWER; downgraded to Neutral at New Street.
Ford Motor Co. (NYSE: F) 3% HIGHER; the company and South Korea-based energy company SK Innovations announced Monday night that they will be spending $11.4 billion to construct three battery factories and an assembly plant for electric F-Series pickup trucks in Tennessee and Kentucky, the biggest investment in the U.S. automaker’s history.
Okta, Inc (NASDAQ: OKTA) 0.8% HIGHER; Morgan Stanley upgrades to Overweight (from Equal-weight), PT $315.00 (from $275.00).
