Eleven Biotherapeutics (Nasdaq: EBIO) 40.3% HIGHER; announced that the company’s Investigational New Drug (IND) application for EBI-031, a humanized monoclonal antibody that potently binds interleukin-6 (IL-6) and inhibits all known forms of IL-6 cytokine signaling, for treatment of ocular diseases, has become effective. As a result of the achievement of this milestone, Eleven is entitled to receive a $22.5 million payment from F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. and Hoffmann-La Roche Inc. (Roche) pursuant to the terms of its license agreement with Roche.

Juno Therapeutics' (NASDAQ: JUNO) 22.1% LOWER; announced that it has received notice from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that a clinical hold has been placed on the Phase II clinical trial of JCAR015 in adult patients with relapsed or refractory B cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (r/r ALL), known as the “ROCKET” trial. The clinical hold was initiated after two patient deaths last week, which followed the recent addition of fludarabine to the pre-conditioning regimen.

Mitel Networks (NASDAQ: MITL) 22% HIGHER; Polycom, Inc. (Nasdaq: PLCM) announced that its board of directors has approved the termination of the company's previously announced merger agreement with Mitel.

Barracuda Networks (NYSE: CUDA) 14.4% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.20, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $0.11. Revenue for the quarter came in at $86.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $83.84 million. sees Q2 adjusted EPS of $0.12 - $0.13, versus the consensus at $0.11.

Polycom, Inc. (Nasdaq: PLCM) 12.9% HIGHER; terminates previously announced merger agreement with Mitel; agrees to be acquired by Siris Capital for a price of $12.50 per share in cash

Galena Biopharma, Inc. (Nasdaq: GALE) 7.7% LOWER; entered into securities purchase agreements with certain institutional investors providing for the issuance of 28,000,000 shares of common stock at a purchase price per share of $0.45 in a registered direct offering, and warrants to purchase up to 14,000,000 shares of common stock with an exercise price of $0.65 per share in a concurrent private placement, resulting in gross proceeds to the Company of $12,600,000.

WD-40 Co. (NASDAQ: WDFC) 4.2% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.88, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.86. Revenue for the quarter came in at $96.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $99.3 million. GUIDANCE: WD-40 Co. sees FY2016 EPS of $3.40-$3.47, versus the consensus of $3.46. WD-40 Co. sees FY2016 revenue of $378-383 million, versus the consensus of $385.90 million.
