Foghorn Therapeutics Inc. (Nasdaq: FHTX) 28% LOWER; announced the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has placed the Phase 1 dose escalation study of FHD-286 in relapsed and/or refractory acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) and myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) on a partial clinical hold. The partial clinical hold was initiated by the FDA following the report of a recent death that occurred in a subject with potential differentiation syndrome. Differentiation syndrome is associated with AML/MDS therapeutics that induce differentiation, an effect that is believed to be on-target for the proposed mechanism of action for FHD-286. The FDA has requested a review of the safety database, risk mitigation strategies and a breakdown of clinical activity across dose levels.

Ross Stores (NASDAQ: ROST) 23% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.97, $0.03 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.00. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.3 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.53 billion. Ross Stores sees Q2 2022 EPS of $0.99-$1.04, versus the consensus of $1.33. Ross Stores sees FY2022 EPS of $4.34-$4.58, versus the consensus of $5.02.

Covetrus (NASDAQ: CVET) 16% HIGHER; Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, LLC and TPG submitted a letter setting forth a non-binding proposal to acquire all of the outstanding shares for $21 per share.

Deckers Brands (NYSE: DECK) 15% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $2.51, $1.20 better than the analyst estimate of $1.31. Revenue for the quarter came in at $736 million versus the consensus estimate of $639.2 million. Deckers Brands sees FY2023 EPS of $17.40-$18.25, versus the consensus of $18.34. Deckers Brands sees FY2023 revenue of $3.45-3.5 billion, versus the consensus of $3.45 billion.

Palo Alto Networks (NASDAQ: PANW) 11% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $1.79, $0.11 better than the analyst estimate of $1.68. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.4 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.36 billion. Palo Alto Networks sees Q4 2022 EPS of $2.26-$2.29, versus the consensus of $2.22. Palo Alto Networks sees Q4 2022 revenue of $1.53-1.55 billion, versus the consensus of $1.53 billion.

Burlington Stores, Inc. (NYSE: BURL) 10% LOWER; falls on Ross Stores' disappointing results and outlook.

Deere & Co. (NYSE: DE) 7% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $6.81, $0.10 better than the analyst estimate of $6.71. Revenue for the quarter came in at $13.37 billion versus the consensus estimate of $13.2 billion.

Ollie's Bargain Outlet (NASDAQ: OLLI) 6% HIGHER; BofA Securities upgraded from Underperform to Buy with a price target of $75.

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: CRWD) 4% HIGHER; gains on Palo Alto Networks' strong results.

Zscaler, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZS) 4% HIGHER; gains on Palo Alto Networks' strong results.

The TJX Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TJX) 4% LOWER; falls on Ross Stores' disappointing results and outlook.

Foot Locker (NYSE: FL) 4% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $1.60, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $1.51. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.18 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.21 billion. Foot Locker sees FY2022 EPS at upper end of $4.25-$4.60, versus the consensus of $4.41.

V.F. Corp. (NYSE: VFC) 3% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.45, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.46. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.8 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.84 billion. V.F. Corp. sees Q1 2023 EPS of $3.30-$3.40, versus the consensus of $3.20. Total VF revenue up at least 7% in constant dollars

Applied Materials (NASDAQ: AMAT) 2% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $1.85, $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.90. Revenue for the quarter came in at $6.25 billion versus the consensus estimate of $6.37 billion. Applied Materials sees Q3 2022 EPS of $1.59-$1.95, versus the consensus of $2.04. Applied Materials sees Q3 2022 revenue of $6.25 billion, versus the consensus of $6.73 billion.
