Ocugen, Inc. (NASDAQ: OCGN) 21% HIGHER; announced that its co-development partner, Bharat Biotech, shared positive results of the second interim analysis of its Phase 3 study of COVAXIN, a whole virion inactivated COVID-19 vaccine candidate. COVAXIN demonstrated a vaccine efficacy in mild, moderate, and severe COVID-19 disease of 78% with efficacy against severe COVID-19 disease alone of 100%.
Welbilt, Inc. (NYSE: WBT) 20.1% HIGHER; The Middleby Corporation (NASDAQ: MIDD) and Welbilt, Inc. (NYSE: WBT) have entered into a definitive agreement under which Middleby will acquire Welbilt in an all-stock transaction, enhancing the Middleby Commercial Foodservice platform with an attractive portfolio of products, brands and technologies. This transaction will bring together two complementary businesses, accelerate the Middleby growth strategy into key markets globally and increase core capabilities in highly attractive segments.
Digital Ally (NASDAQ: DGLY) 13.4% LOWER; lower possibly on the Chauvin guilty verdict
Netflix (NASDAQ: NFLX) 7.8% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $3.75, $0.78 better than the analyst estimate of $2.97. Revenue for the quarter came in at $7.16 billion versus the consensus estimate of $7.13 billion. Global streaming paid net additions were 3.98 million versus the guidance of 6 million. The company sees Q2 Global streaming paid net additions of 1 million, versus the consensus of 4.4 million.
Stride Inc. (NYSE: LRN) 4.9% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.57, $0.13 better than the analyst estimate of $0.44. Revenue for the quarter came in at $392.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $380.94 million.
Roku, Inc. (NASDAQ: ROKU) 4.3% LOWER; lower on Netflix earnings
Cerecor (NASDAQ: CERC) 4% HIGHER; Maxim Group ugraded from Hold to Buy with a price target of $7.00.
Intuitive Surgical (NASDAQ: ISRG) 4% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $3.52, $0.89 better than the analyst estimate of $2.63. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.29 million versus the consensus estimate of $1.11 million.
fuboTV Inc. (NYSE: FUBO) 2% LOWER; lower on Netflix earnings
Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NYSE: NCLH) 1.8% HIGHER; Goldman Sachs upgraded from Neutral to Buy with a $37 price target.
CSX Corp. (NASDAQ: CSX) 1.7% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.93, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.95. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.81 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.78 billion.
Southern Copper (NYSE: SCCO) 1.7% LOWER; UBS downgraded from Neutral to Sell with a price target of $65.00 (from $60.00).
j2 Global Communications (NASDAQ: JCOM) 1.2% LOWER; Piper Sandler downgraded from Overweight to Neutral with a price target of $139.00 (from $122.00).
Edwards Lifesciences (NYSE: EW) 1% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.54, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.48. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.2 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.16 billion. Edwards Lifesciences sees FY2021 EPS of $2.07-$2.27, versus the consensus of $2.13.
