Big 5 Sporting Goods Corporation (Nasdaq: BGFV) 77.6% HIGHER; provided select preliminary fiscal 2020 second quarter financial results for the period ended June 28, 2020. Over the first half of the second quarter, when the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to operate with a highly reduced store count, our same store sales decreased by 28.2% compared to the prior year period. However, as we reopened stores our product assortment and convenience clearly resonated with consumers and for the second half of the second quarter our same store sales increased by 15.5% compared to the prior year period with very strong merchandise margins. We are pleased that the positive sales and margin momentum in our business has continued into the start of the third quarter.

Document Security Systems, Inc. (NYSE: DSS) 47% HIGHER; announced that its target acquisition Company, Impact Biomedical, published results from its in-vitro testing with Equivir and Linebacker, its proprietary compounds, and 3F Biofragrance against COVID-19 in independent laboratory testing. Impact Biomedical and Global Research and Discovery Group Sciences (GRDG), in independent Biosafety Level 3 containment facilities, challenged its compounds with the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Equivir and Linebacker demonstrated in-vitro success as a treatment, as well as a prophylactic protecting the cells from infection by the virus.

Optinose (NASDAQ: OPTN) 15.1% HIGHER; announced the signing of an agreement with kaléo, a pharmaceutical company dedicated to building innovative solutions for serious and life-threatening medical conditions, to co-promote XHANCE® (fluticasone propionate) exhalation nasal spray 93 mcg, for the treatment of nasal polyps in patients 18 years or older in the United States.

AnaptysBio, Inc. (Nasdaq: ANAB) 13.1% HIGHER; announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted orphan drug designation for imsidolimab, the companys proprietary anti-interleukin-36 receptor (IL-36R) antibody, for the treatment of patients with GPP.

Veritone, Inc. (NASDAQ: VERI) 11.5% HIGHER; announced that it now expects net revenues for the second quarter of 2020 to be in the range of $13.1 million to $13.3 million, up from the range of $11.8 million to $12.2 million provided on May 11, 2020.

UP Fintech Holding Limited (NASDAQ TIGR) 10.7% HIGHER; Chinese brokers continue higher

Bed Bath & Beyond (NASDAQ: BBBY) 9% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of ($1.96), $0.79 worse than the analyst estimate of ($1.17). Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.31 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.34 billion. The Company is not providing financial guidance for 2020 due to the continued uncertainty related to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic remains volatile and the impact continues to evolve, and it could adversely affect the Company's store re-opening plans and other measures intended to address its impact and/or the current expectations of its future business performance.

NetEase, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTES) 8.4% HIGHER; Chinese stocks see upside

Otonomy, Inc. (Nasdaq: OTIC) 7.3% LOWER; announced that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of its common stock. All shares of common stock to be sold in the offering will be offered by Otonomy and, in lieu of common stock, to offer and sell to certain investors pre-funded warrants to purchase shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering

NIO Inc. (NYSE: NIO) 6.2% HIGHER; Chinese EV maker sees continued momentum

Walgreens Boots Alliance (NASDAQ: WBA) 5.5% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.83, $0.38 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.21. Revenue for the quarter came in at $34.6 billion versus the consensus estimate of $34.44 billion.

Harley-Davidson (NYSE: HOG) 2.7% HIGHER; Northcoast Research upgraded from Neutral to Buy.

Fastly Inc. (NYSE: FSLY) 2.6% LOWER; Citi downgraded from Neutral to Sell, PT $58.00.

Herman Miller (NASDAQ: MLHR) 2.2% HIGHER; Director, Michael Volkema, bought 25,000 shares on 07/07 at $21.44.

BlueCity Holdings Limited (NASDAQ: BLCT) 1.7% HIGHER; Today's IPO for the China-based LQBTQ stock adds to 46% intra-day gains.
