Vical Incorporated (Nasdaq: VICL) 31.9% LOWER; announced top-line results from a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, Phase 2 clinical study of its therapeutic bivalent vaccine candidate for herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2), the leading cause of recurrent genital herpes. The study did not meet its primary endpoint of annualized lesion recurrence rate calculated based on those genital recurrences that were both clinically- and virologically-confirmed during a minimum of nine months of surveillance.

Genworth Financial, Inc. (NYSE: GNW) 27.8% HIGHER; China Oceanwide Holdings Group Co., Ltd. (Oceanwide) and Genworth Financial, Inc. (NYSE: GNW) today announced that the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) has completed its review of their proposed transaction and concluded that there are no unresolved national security concerns with respect to the proposed transaction. This satisfies one of the conditions to the closing of the proposed transaction.

PG&E Corp. (NYSE: PCG) 7.4% LOWER; Cal Fire released a second damaging report indicating that the company's equipment was involved in 12 Northern California wildfires in the October 2017 Fire Siege caused by electric power and distribution lines, conductors and the failure of power poles. Cal Fire said the company violated state law in 8 instances.

Pluralsight, Inc. (NYSE: PS) 3.9% HIGHER; positive ratings across Wall Street as ratings begin

USG Corporation (NYSE: USG) 3.5% HIGHER; Gebr. Knauf KG and USG Corporation (NYSE: USG) today announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement pursuant to which Knauf will acquire all of the outstanding shares of USG in a transaction valued at approximately $7.0 billion. Under the terms of the agreement, USG shareholders will receive $44.00 per share, which consists of $43.50 per share in cash payable upon closing of the transaction and a $0.50 per share special dividend that would be paid following shareholder approval of the transaction.

Tetraphase Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTPH) 2.7% HIGHER; recently reported data on eravacycline, which is currently under review by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the European Medicines Agency (EMA) for the treatment of complicated intra-abdominal infections (cIAI), as well as data for TP-6076, its second-generation candidate targeting MDR Gram-negative bacteria, which is currently in phase 1 clinical testing. These data were presented at the American Society for Microbiology (ASM) Microbe 2018 Annual Meeting, held June 7-11, 2018 in Atlanta, GA.

Incyte (NASDAQ: INCY) 2.6% HIGHER; Evercore ISI upgraded from In Line to Outperform with a price target of $96.00 (from $70).

Envision Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: EVHC) 2.6% HIGHER; announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by global investment firm KKR in an all-cash transaction for approximately $9.9 billion, including the assumption or repayment of debt. Under the terms of the agreement, which has been unanimously approved by Envisions Board of Directors (the Board), KKR will acquire all of the outstanding shares of Envisions common stock for $46.00 per share in cash, representing a 32% premium to Envisions volume-weighted average share price (VWAP) from November 1, 2017, the day immediately following the Companys first announcement that it was reviewing strategic alternatives.

Oasis Petroleum (NYSE: OAS) 2.2% LOWER; Jefferies downgraded from Buy to Hold with a price target of $14.00.

Newell Brands Inc. (NYSE: NWL) 2.2% HIGHER; announced today that its Board of Directors has approved an expansion to the company's stock repurchase authorization.
