Morning Movers 6/15: JAZZ, NBS, CIMT, BDSI, CAV, CTIC Higher; CDII, IRE, SOLR Lower

Jazz Pharmaceuticals' (Nasdaq: JAZZ) 30.7% HIGHER; sodium oxybate (JZP-6) demonstrated statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvement in pain and the core symptoms associated with fibromyalgia, according to Phase III data presented last week at the 2009 Associated Professional Sleep Societies meeting in Seattle, WA. These data have not been evaluated by the FDA or other regulatory authorities for use of sodium oxybate in the treatment of fibromyalgia.

NeoStem, Inc. (Amex: NBS) 29.1% HIGHER; announced today it has signed an exclusive 10-year agreement with Enhance BioMedical Holdings Limited, a Shanghai corporation, to develop a Stem Cell Collection and Treatment Network using NeoStem's proprietary adult stem cell technologies in Shanghai, Taiwan as well as the Chinese provinces of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Anhui and Jiangxi.

Cimatron Limited (Nasdaq: CIMT) 27.8% HIGHER; announced that it was identified as the fastest growing CAD/CAM provider in 2008 according to report by prominent market research firm CIMdata. According to CIMdata's NC Software and Related Services Market Assessment, Cimatron's growth in 2008 was 45.6%, making Cimatron the sixth largest CAD/CAM provider globally.

BioDelivery Sciences International, Inc. (Nasdaq: BDSI) 24.3% HIGHER; today announced that the company has reached agreement with the U.S. FDA Division of Anesthesia, Analgesia and Rheumatology Products and a multidisciplinary review team on all aspects of the company's New Drug Application for ONSOLIS(TM) (fentanyl buccal soluble film), including the Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy. Although the FDA did not meet its action date of last Friday for this NDA, the Division has informed the company that FDA will not be issuing a review extension letter as their action on the NDA is forthcoming.

Cavalier Homes, Inc. (Amex: CAV) 17.9% HIGHER; announced that its Board of Directors has entered into a definitive merger agreement for the Company to be acquired by Addison, Alabama-based Southern Energy Homes, Inc. Terms of the agreement call for the payment of $2.75 cash for each outstanding share of common stock.

Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: CTIC) 17.5% HIGHER; announced today that it has been included on a list of preliminary additions to the Russell 3000(R) Index and Russell Global(R) Index posted by Russell Investments on June 12, 2009 on www.russell.com. Russell Investments will reconstitute its family of U.S. and global equity indexes on June 26, 2009.

AEterna Zentaris Inc. (NASDAQ: AEZS) 16.1% HIGHER; reported that patient follow-up in the open-label safety study (study 041) of its Phase 3 program in benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) with its lead endocrinology compound, cetrorelix pamoate, is scheduled to be completed at the end of this week. China Direct Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: CDII) 16.1% LOWER; announced that it has entered into definitive agreements to sell 2,702,704 shares of its common stock and warrants to purchase up to 1,351,352 of common stock to accredited investors. The purchase price per share of the common stock will be $1.85.

Aerosonic Corporation (Amex: AIM) 13.7% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.38, compared to a loss of $0.07 in the same quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter was $8.77 million, versus $6.65 million in Q108.

Huntington Bancshares (Nasdaq: HBAN) 12.5% HIGHER; seems to be surging today on the back of a Cramer recommendation on Friday. He called HBAN his top speculative play for this year. Click here for full color on the call.
