Morning Movers 08/08: (SAVB) (DF) (ENOC) Higher; (OTT) (EZCH) (OWW) Lower

The Savannah Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: SAVB) 56.8% HIGHER; Savannah Bancorp and SCBT Financial Corporation (Nasdaq: SCBT) jointly announced today the signing of a definitive merger agreement under which SCBT will acquire The Savannah Bancorp, Inc. for a total value of approximately $67.1 million.

Dean Foods Co. (NYSE: DF) 38.3% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.36, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.31. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.13 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.23 billion. Sees Q3 2012 EPS of $0.25-$0.30, versus the consensus of $0.25. Dean Foods Co. sees FY2012 EPS of $1.18-$1.28, versus the consensus of $1.16.

Otelco Inc. (Nasdaq: OTT) 37.5% LOWER; reported Q2 loss of $9.68 per share, from EPS of 10 cents last year. Revs fell 3.1 percent to $24.71 million. The company commented, "Because of the negative impact of the FCC order and the expiration of the Time Warner Cable agreements, we are exploring our strategic alternatives to address the existing levels of debt and strengthen our balance sheet."

EZchip Semi (Nasdaq: EZCH) 25.9% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.29, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.26. Revenue for the quarter came in at $15.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $15.51 million. Revenues in the second half of 2012 are expected to be lower than initially anticipated with a significant sequential decline in the third quarter and with 2012 revenues likely to decline year-over-year. EZchip said this was due to customers taking a longer time to go into production on new NP-4 technology, as well as macro concerns.

EnerNOC, Inc. (NASDAQ: ENOC) 25.6% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of ($0.91), $0.22 better than the analyst estimate of ($1.13). Revenue for the quarter came in at $33.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $28.93 million. EnerNOC, Inc. sees Q3 2012 EPS of $1.60-$1.90, versus the consensus of $1.65. EnerNOC, Inc. sees Q3 2012 revenue of $160-$176 million, versus the consensus of $166.0 million. Sees FY2012 EPS of $-1.00-$-1.40, versus prior guidance of $-1.00-$-1.50 and the consensus of $-1.43. EnerNOC, Inc. sees FY2012 revenue of $260-$280 million, versus prior guidance of $250-$280 million and the consensus of $257.51 million.

Skywest, Inc. (NASDAQ: SKYW) 24.8% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.33, $0.19 better than the analyst estimate of $0.14. Revenue for the quarter came in at $937.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $941 million.

Orbitz Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: OWW) 22.8% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.04, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.05. Revenue for the quarter came in at $200.98 million versus the consensus estimate of $207.77 million. Sees Q3 2012 revenue of $197-$203 million, versus the consensus of $216.32 million.

Select Medical Holdings (NYSE: SEM) 21.9% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.31, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.24. Revenue for the quarter came in at $750.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $730.39 million. Sees FY2012 EPS of $1.01-$1.06, versus the consensus of $0.94. Select Medical Holdings sees FY2012 revenue of $2.9-$2.98 billion, versus the consensus of $2.94 billion.

Willbros Group, Inc. (NYSE: WG) 20.9% LOWER; reported Q2 net loss of 8 cents per share onrevs of $499.2 million, from a loss of 48 cents per share on revs of $419.1 million in the same period last year. Missed internal expectations.

Echelon Corp (NASDAQ: ELON) 19.8% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.01, $0.13 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.12). Revenue for the quarter came in at $40.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $39.4 million. Sees Q3 2012 revenue of $26-$30 million, versus the consensus of $38 million.

Tornier N.V. (NASDAQ: TRNX) 19.3% LOWER; reported Q2 sales of $66.0 million and in-line adjusted loss of 7 cents per share. For the third quarter of 2012, the Company projects constant currency sales to be in the range of $60 to $62 million, representing constant currency growth of 4% to 8% over third quarter 2011 sales. Based on recent currency exchange rates, third quarter 2012 reported sales are projected in the range of $57 to $59 million, representing reported growth of -1% to 2.5% over third quarter 2011 sales.

Fuel Systems Solutions (NASDAQ: FSYS) 19.2% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.11, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.10. Revenue for the quarter came in at $109 million versus the consensus estimate of $105.09 million.

MEMC Electronic Materials (NYSE: WFR) 19.0% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.14, $0.16 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.02). Revenue for the quarter came in at $808.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $746.57 million. For the second quarter of 2012, SunEdison recognized non-GAAP revenue on 169 MW of solar energy systems sales, compared to 49 MW in the 2012 first quarter and 28 MW in the 2011 second quarter. Despite these increased solar energy systems sales, SunEdison's project pipeline remained flat at 2.9 GW.

Jive Software (NASDAQ: JIVE) 18.5% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of ($0.11), in-line with the analyst estimate of ($0.11). Revenue for the quarter came in at $27 million versus the consensus estimate of $26.6 million.

Gulfport Energy Corp. (NASDAQ: GPOR) 18.3% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.45, $0.06 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.51. Revenue for the quarter came in at $66.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $66.99 million.
