Talbots (NYSE: TLB) 93.4% HIGHER; agreed to acquired by Sycamore Partners for $2.75/share in cash, or $369 million including debt.

Chelsea Therapeutics International, Ltd. (Nasdaq: CHTP) 34.9% LOWER; announced that a preliminary analysis of its dose-ranging exploratory Phase II trial of CH-4051, a non-metabolized antifolate, in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who experience an inadequate response to methotrexate (MTX) treatment indicates that CH-4051 did not demonstrate superior efficacy to methotrexate in the dose range evaluated. CE Franklin Ltd. (NASDAQ: CFK) 34.8% HIGHER; announced late yesterday it has entered into an arrangement agreement with a wholly owned National Oilwell Varco, Inc. (NYSE: NOV) subsidiary, NOV Distribution Services ULC, pursuant to which, NDS has agreed to acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of CE Franklin for consideration of CAD$12.75 in cash per Common Share.

New England Bancshares, Inc. (Nasdaq: NEBS) 29.9% HIGHER; United Financial Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: UBNK), the holding company for United Bank, and New England Bancshares have executed a definitive merger agreement pursuant to which United Financial Bancorp will acquire New England Bancshares in a transaction currently valued at approximately $91.0 million, based on United Financial Bancorp's 20 day volume weighted average stock price of $15.89 per share as of May 30, 2012 and excluding shares used to terminate New England Bank's employee stock ownership plan.

Synta Pharma (Nasdaq: SNTA) 19% HIGHER; the stock gapped above the 50- and 200-day simple moving averages at the open, bumped up against resistance at $4.50 and $4.75, but is now heading toward the $5 level. Volume is very heavy this morning.

Bon-Ton (Nasdaq: BONT) 14.6% HIGHER; reported total sales rose 1.2 percent to $183.1 million during May. Same-store sales were up 1.5 percent.

A123 Systems (Nasdaq: AONE) 13.3% LOWER; the company has filed a "Going Concern" statement in a Form 8-K this afternoon. The company cited the battery pack replacement plan and said it sees "significant" losses over the next several quarters. The company is assessing actions to raise capital.

CGI Group Inc. (NYSE: GIB) 12.7% HIGHER; has announced a recommended cash acquisition of Logica for 105 pence (C$1.68) per ordinary share equivalent to a total purchase price of GBP 1.7 billion (C$2.8 billion) plus the assumption of Logica's net debt of GBP 322 million (C$515 million).

NCI (Nasdaq: NCIT) 12.2% LOWER; investors are taking profits this morning following a 28 percent rise yesterday amid news of a contract win for the National Institute of Health's CIO-SP3 GWAC.

ImmunoCellular Therapeutics (NYSE: IMUC) 11.3% HIGHER; will present data from the previously completed Phase I clinical trial of ICT-107 showing downregulation of both the tumor associated antigens that ICT-107 is targeting as well as CD-133, a cancer stem cell (CSC) marker, in some of the patients. These observations suggest that targeting antigens highly expressed by CSCs is a promising strategy for treating patients with GBM. Click here for the full release.

National Bank of Greece (NYSE: NBG) 11.1% LOWER; continuing lower today following a quarterly loss issued yesterday. The stock fell more than 5 percent yesterday amid the results.

Osiris Therapeutics (Nasdaq: OSIR) 10.3% LOWER; the stock is now down more than 16 percent since yesterday morning's initial pop following news of a win for Medicare reimbursement codes for Grafix. The stock has broken below support at $6.50 this morning.

Hercules Offshore (Nasdaq: HERO) 10.2% LOWER; continuing lower after falling to hold above the $5 level through the end of April and into early May. Downside is very sharp today as the price has pushed below support at $3.50 and $3.25.

Mitek Systems (Nasdaq: MITK) 8.9% LOWER; flirting with the $2 level after plunged nearly 7 percent yesterday as technicals are breaking down.

The Buckle, Inc. (NYSE: BKE) 8.3% LOWER; reports sales of $69.9 million in May, an increase of 2.7 percent. Comps were up 0.2 percent for the month.

Ubiquiti Networks (NASDAQ: UBNT) 8% HIGHER; Wunderlich Securities upgraded the stock from Hold to Buy with a price target of $35.00.
