After-hours movers: GameStop falls as CEO terminated, Semtech gains following results
After-Hours Stock Movers:
HashiCorp (NASDAQ: HCP) 24% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of ($0.07), $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.14). Revenue for the quarter came in at $138 million versus the consensus estimate of $133.13 million. HashiCorp sees Q2 2024 EPS of ($0.16)-($0.14), versus the consensus of ($0.12). HashiCorp sees Q2 2024 revenue of $137-139 million, versus the consensus of $141 million. HashiCorp sees FY2024 EPS of ($0.27)-($0.24), versus the consensus of ($0.39). HashiCorp sees FY2024 revenue of $564-570 million, versus the consensus of $593 million.
GameStop (NYSE: GME) 18% LOWER; terminated Matt Furlong as chief executive and appointed Ryan Cohen as executive chairman. The company reported a Q1 loss of $0.14 on revenue of $1.24 billion, compared with estimates for a loss of $0.12 a share on revenue of $1.36B.
Torrid Holdings Inc. (NYSE: CURV) 18% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.11, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.12. Revenue for the quarter came in at $293.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $310.13 million. Torrid Holdings Inc. sees Q2 2024 revenue of $280-295 million, versus the consensus of $333 million.
Smartsheet (NYSE: SMAR) 16% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.18, $0.10 better than the analyst estimate of $0.08. Revenue for the quarter came in at $219.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $214.1 million. Smartsheet sees Q2 2024 EPS of $0.07-$0.08, versus the consensus of $0.07. Smartsheet sees Q2 2024 revenue of $228-231 million, versus the consensus of $230.4 million. Smartsheet sees FY2024 EPS of $0.37-$0.44, versus the consensus of $0.35. Smartsheet sees FY2024 revenue of $943-948 million, versus the consensus of $946 million.
Semtech (NASDAQ: SMTC) 14% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.02, $0.10 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.08). Revenue for the quarter came in at $236.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $235.1 million. Semtech sees Q2 2024 EPS of ($0.02)-$0.06, versus the consensus of ($0.02). Semtech sees Q2 2024 revenue of $233-234 million, versus the consensus of $242.66 million.
