AzurRx BioPharma, Inc. (NASDAQ: AZRX) 30.4% LOWER; provided key takeaways from its conference call reporting on the topline results from its Phase 2b OPTION 2 clinical trial investigating MS1819 in cystic fibrosis (CF) patients with exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI). The conference call, held on March 31, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. ET, featured James Sapirstein, President, CEO and Chairman of AzurRx, and Dr. James Pennington, Chief Medical Officer, discussing the recently completed OPTION 2 study, and the company's plans to develop an optimized formulation of MS1819 for ongoing clinical investigation.
XL Fleet (NYSE: XL) 12.6% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of ($0.06), $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.09). Revenue for the quarter came in at $10.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $12.1 million.
Remark Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: MARK) 8.8% LOWER; Revenue for fiscal year 2020 totaled $10.1 million, up from $5.0 million during fiscal year 2019.
BioXcel Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: BTAI) 8.5% LOWER; announced topline results from its Phase 1b/2 proof-of-concept RELEASE study of BXCL501, the Companys proprietary, orally dissolving thin film formulation of dexmedetomidine, for the treatment of opioid withdrawal symptoms.
QuantumScape Corporation (NYSE: QS) 8.2% HIGHER; announced it has successfully met the technical milestone that was a condition to close for the investment of an additional $100 million by Volkswagen Group of America Investments, LLC (“VW”) into QuantumScape. The milestone required Volkswagen to successfully test the latest generation of QuantumScape’s solid-state lithium-metal cells in their labs in Germany. This will be the second and final closing under the May 14, 2020 stock purchase agreement between VW and QuantumScape that provided for a total $200 million investment.
CTI BioPharma Corp. (Nasdaq: CTIC) 7.9% LOWER; announced that it intends to offer and sell shares of its common stock and series X1 preferred stock in an underwritten registered public offering.
Ideanomics (NASDAQ: IDEX) 6.7% HIGHER; EV revenue in 2020 was $19.5 million versus $2.7 million in 2019, an increase of $16.8 million or more than 600%.
Guess? (NYSE: GES) 4.5% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $1.18, $0.62 better than the analyst estimate of $0.56. Revenue for the quarter came in at $648 million versus the consensus estimate of $659.93 million.
Wingstop Inc. (NASDAQ: WING) 3.4% HIGHER; Highlights for the fiscal first quarter 2021 as compared to the fiscal first quarter 2020: 41 net new openings resulting in 1,579 Wingstop restaurants system-wide, an increase of 11.7%; Domestic same-store sales increased 20.7%; Company-owned restaurant same-store sales increased 13.4%; System-wide sales increased 30.0% to approximately $558.9 million; Digital sales increased to 63.6%, compared to 43.3% in fiscal first quarter 2020
