After-Hours Movers: Horizon Therapeutics Gains on Takeover Talks, CrowdStrike Sinks on EPS

Horizon Therapeutics (NASDAQ: HZNP) 31% HIGHER; confirmed that it was in "highly preliminary" takeover talks with Amgen Inc. (NYSE: AMGN), Janssen Global Services, LLC (NYSE: JNJ) and Sanofi (NYSE: SNY).

CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: CRWD) 18% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.40, $0.08 better than the analyst estimate of $0.32. Revenue for the quarter came in at $581 million versus the consensus estimate of $575.16 million. CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. sees Q4 2023 EPS of $0.42-$0.45, versus the consensus of $0.34. CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. sees Q4 2023 revenue of $619.1-628.2 million, versus the consensus of $632.84 million. CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. sees FY2023 EPS of $1.49-$1.52, versus the consensus of $1.32. CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. sees FY2023 revenue of $2.223-2.232 billion, versus the consensus of $2.23 billion.

NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) 11% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $1.48, $0.15 better than the analyst estimate of $1.33. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.66 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.68 billion. NetApp sees Q3 2023 EPS of $1.25-$1.35, versus the consensus of $1.44. NetApp sees Q3 2023 revenue of $1.525-1.675 billion, versus the consensus of $1.71 billion. NetApp sees FY2023 EPS of $5.30-$5.50, versus the consensus of $5.52.

AST SpaceMobile, Inc. (NASDAQ: ASTS) 9% LOWER; announced the launch of a public offering of $65,000,000 of its Class A common stock.

Workday (NASDAQ: WDAY) 9% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.99, $0.15 better than the analyst estimate of $0.84. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.6 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.58 billion.

Palo Alto Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: PANW) 4% LOWER; falls on CrowdStrike's weaker-than-expected results.

Fortinet, Inc. (NASDAQ: FTNT) 3% LOWER; falls on CrowdStrike's weaker-than-expected results.

Intuit (NASDAQ: INTU) 2% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $1.66, $0.47 better than the analyst estimate of $1.19. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.6 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.5 billion. Intuit sees FY2023 EPS of $13.59-$13.89, versus the consensus of $13.75. Intuit sees FY2023 revenue of $14.04-14.25 billion, versus the consensus of $14.53 billion.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE) 2% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.57, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.57. Revenue for the quarter came in at $7.9 billion versus the consensus estimate of $7.4 billion. Hewlett Packard Enterprise sees Q1 2023 EPS of $0.50-$0.58, versus the consensus of $0.49. Hewlett Packard Enterprise sees Q1 2023 revenue of $7.2-7.6 billion, versus the consensus of $7 billion. Hewlett Packard Enterprise sees FY2023 EPS of $1.96-$2.04, versus the consensus of $2.03.
