METHANEX CORPORATION ANNOUNCES A 20% DIVIDEND INCREASE

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA (July 14, 2022) - Methanex Corporation (the “Company” or “Methanex”) (TSX:MX) (NASDAQ:MEOH) announced today that its Board of Directors has approved a 20% increase in its quarterly dividend to US$0.175 per share from US$0.145 per share. The increased dividend will apply to the dividend payable on September 30, 2022 to holders of common shares of record on September 16, 2022.

John Floren, President & CEO of Methanex, said, “The 20% dividend increase reinforces our commitment to return cash to shareholders and highlights the strong cash flow generation capability of our assets.”

Methanex is a Vancouver-based, publicly traded company and is the world's largest producer and supplier of methanol to major international markets.
