Cyber ​​Attack Notice

 

Companhia Paranaense de Energia – COPEL (“Company”), a company that generates, transmits, distributes and trade energy, with shares listed on B3 (CPLE3, CPLE5, CPLE6), the NYSE (ELPVY, ELP) and the LATIBEX (XCOP), hereby informs that some of its servers suffered cyber-attacks generating, on this date, the unavailability of part of their systems.

The operation and protection systems detected the attacks and, immediately, the Company followed the security protocols, including suspending the operation of its computerized environment to protect the integrity of the information. The full assessment of what happened is in progress and the Company is taking the necessary steps to restore normality.

To date, Copel's main systems remain intact and the electricity supply and telecommunications services continue to function normally.

The competent authorities are monitoring the case and Copel will keep the market informed of any relevant information related to this event.
