Explanatory Note

The sole purpose of this amendment (“Form 8-K/A”) to the Current Report on Form 8-K filed by WSFS Financial Corporation (the “Registrant”) with the Securities and Exchange Commission on January 26, 2023 (“Form 8-K”), is to revise the dividend payable date and record date on page 10 of Exhibit 99.1 to the Form 8-K and certain amounts related to noninterest demand on page 6 of Exhibit 99.2 to the Form 8-K. No other changes have been made to the Form 8-K.

Item 2.02 Results of Operation and Financial Condition

On January 26, 2023, the Registrant issued a press release to report earnings for the quarter ended December 31, 2022, which was subsequently revised on January 27, 2023. Copies of the press release and supplement as revised are furnished with this Form 8-K/A as Exhibit 99.1 and Exhibit 99.2, respectively.
