ITEM 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition

On February 2, 2023, Southern Copper Corporation (“SCC”) issued a press release announcing financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended on December 31, 2022. In this press release, SCC reported that on January 26, 2023, the Board of Directors authorized a dividend of $1.00 per share payable on March 1, 2023, to shareholders of record at the close of business on February 14, 2023. A copy of this press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
